At the 2022 Yorkshire Society Awards, John Cotton Group were awarded the Business Enterprise Award for Outstanding efforts in business enterprise within the county. For over 30 years, the Yorkshire Awards have recognised organisations and businesses who’ve made an impact on Yorkshire and its people, demonstrating their affection for, and a real commitment to, the region.
A family-run company established in 1916, John Cotton Group have pioneered home textile and non-woven fibre production for over a century. Headquartered in Yorkshire and with operations around the globe, the group is the UK’s largest producer of filled bedding products and prides itself on its ethos of quality and sustainability. Across the group, an estimated 1.7 billion plastic bottles have been diverted from landfill and transformed into products found in homes across the UK.
